*Reading
for 10- 15 minutes each day. Manchester Summer Reading Programs at the
local public city library.
*Keep
writing and spelling sharp with a journal or diary, make lists for up coming
events, things that need to be packed for a fun day at the beach, a grocery list
or write a letter to a friend.
*Math
skills to work on would be basic facts for addition and subtraction, regrouping
into the hundreds, telling time and lapsed time, figuring out money and change
for purchases.
*Check
out the computer and Google for interactive games that reinforce skills
from every aspect of the curriculum,
*Attend Mass on Sunday and talk about the readings and Gospel. Think about
signing up for a Summer Bible School.
