The kindergarteners concluded their Social Studies unit on the first Thanksgiving with a wonderful breakfast feast, together with their families, friends and prayer partners on Wednesday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the school cafeteria.
The children kicked off the celebration dressed as pilgrim and Native American children, performing several songs and saying grace. There was a bountiful array of breads, muffins, quiche, pies, fruits, veggies, popcorn, cheese, homemade butter, and more!
They concluded the celebration by crafting edible apple and candy turkeys, leaving not only with their edible turkeys, handmade centerpieces and costumes, but also with wonderful memories of an enactment of the first Thanksgiving!
