Saint Benedict Academy presented its annual Christmas Pageant at Saint Raphael Church on Tuesday, December 16. Many parents, siblings, family, friends, and alumni joined us for the evening.
Each class portrayed a different element of the Nativity story and came together at the conclusion of the evening to present a tableau of the Nativity and lead the community in a sing-a-long before a rendition of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” from the Messiah:
Kindergarten: Villagers
First Grade: Sheep
Second Grade: Shepherds
Third Grade: Angels
Fourth Grade: Wise Men and Entourage
Fifth Grade: Narrators and Additional Roles – Villagers, Roman Solider
Sixth Grade: Principal Roles – Mary, Joseph, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Zechariah, Luke, “flashback” Mary, and the Innkeepers
