Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Enraptured by the splendor of your heavenly beauty, and impelled by the anxieties of the world, we cast ourselves into your arms, O Immaculate Mother of Jesus and our Mother, Mary, confident of finding in your most loving heart appeasement of our ardent desires, and a safe harbor from the tempests which beset us on every side. – Pope Pius XII

Saint Benedict Academy students and faculty joined the Saint Raphael Parish community to celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at 12 noon today at Saint Raphael Church. We were happy to see so many parents, siblings, and friends in attendance.

After Mass, students who received Honor Roll distinction for their work in the first trimester were recognized – congratulations!

The second and fourth grade classes led the community in an Advent Prayer Service, encouraging us to reflect upon Scripture passages about the Light of Christ. Thank you for such a beautiful service!
