Internet Safety Session for Parents

In addition to what the children learn about as part of their Educational Technology class, it is important for parents and caregivers to understand the dangers of the Cyberworld and the steps that they can take to help protect their children.

Saint Benedict Academy has partnered with Officer Paul Rondeau of the Manchester Police Department for a special 1-hour class for parents concerning Internet Safety. Officer Rondeau’s presentation will address: General Internet Safety, Social Media, Internet Predators, Cyber-bullying, and Tools for Parents.

The presentation will be held on Wednesday, December 3 and will begin promptly at 6 PM. The program will last one hour. The presentation will be held in the Pastor’s Classroom off the SBA Cafeteria. Please park in the Ferry Street lot and enter via the Cafeteria Door on Ferry Street (same door as Pasta Dinner Night). Students should NOT attend this event.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so that we can set up seating accordingly. Email the office at officeadmin@stbenedictacademy.org.

A special thank you to Officer Rondeau and Mrs. Donna Sewall for arranging the parent presentation and to Computer Teacher Ms. Christine Maloof for all that she does in her classroom to educate the children.
