Pre-K Field Trip

Pre-K students in Ms. Heather’s class enjoyed a “Field Trip” on Friday as the Ferry Street lawn on campus was transformed into a Sizzling Celebration of Summer.

IMG_6544The students began their day by creating visors decorated in a beach theme. After music class, the students were excited to find a giant bouncy-house castle occupying the lawn! Students were eager to take off their shoes, bounce around, and have fun using their imaginations. Throughout the morning, a number of activities were set up for the class including a parachute, a variety of bubble machines, ball games, sidewalk chalk, and a face painting station. Ms. Jackie artfully painted sharks, snakes, and a cat – to name a few.

The pre-K students were delighted that their sixth grade prayer partners were able to join them for some of their special morning and got to enjoy their pizza “picnic-style” under the trees. Needless to say, nobody had trouble catching some “z’s” at rest time!

A special thanks to Ms. Heather, Ms. Jackie, and Mrs. Gravel for making this morning such a fun experience as the pre-K students wrap up their year.
