SBA Alums Receive Diocesan Saint Timothy Award

Saint Benedict Academy congratulates two Saint Benedict Academy alumni for receiving the Saint Timothy Award. Ryan DesRuisseaux, SBA ’09, and Melissa McCormack, SBA ’08, were among 18 youth in the Diocese of Manchester selected for the honor. Bishop Libasci conferred the honor at a Mass on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Saint Joseph Cathedral.

The Saint Timothy award is the highest recognition from the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry for a junior or senior high school youth. Recipients must live as a disciple of Christ, setting a positive example for other youth; witness their faith by exhibiting Catholic morals and integrity; demonstrate Gospel values through service to others; and exhibit Christian leadership in parish, school, and/or community settings.

Ryan is a junior at Goffstown High School, and Melissa is a senior at Trinity High School. Congratulations!
