Superintendent Father John Fortin Visits SBA

Father John Fortin, O.S.B., the Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Manchester visited the Saint Benedict Academy community on Wednesday, September 25.

Father Fortin toured the school and conversed with each class about their afternoon lessons. He applauded the students for their work on Mr. McLaughlin’s summer journal challenge and checked in with them that Mr. McLaughlin had honored his promise to serve ice cream sundaes at lunch for those students.

The student body presented Father Fortin with a new Saint Benedict Academy hooded sweatshirt as a thank you for his leadership in our Diocese.

Father Fortin looks forward to returning to Saint Benedict Academy later this year to celebrate Mass with us and to join our community in commemorating our 125th Jubilee.
