The Third and Sixth Grade Classes ran an extremely successful coat drive to benefit the St. Raphael Food and Clothing Pantry. Members of the school and wider community participated in the drive for new and gently-worn coats, hats, and mittens. The support we had was overwhelming as was the participation and enthusiasm the two classes that organized the drive.
The students held signs daily in our drop-off and pick-up zone in support of our project. Students also created flyers, posters, and emails for the school community. Other responsibilities included emptying the large receiving bins on a daily basis and bringing the contents over to the Food Pantry to be organized.
We thank everyone for their support and are so proud of our students and their efforts!
