Saint Benedict Academy is a community of faith, dedicated to living the Gospel message as well as carrying out the threefold purpose of Christian education:

Our goal is to provide an understanding of Catholic truths and Christian values which enable the student to live a meaningful life consistent with the Gospel values of peace, justice, love, and freedom, as well as to develop the skills, creativity, and knowledge that will prepare students for life.

Our History and Patron

In 1888, the bishop presented the monks of Saint Anselm Abbey with the task of building a parish in the heart of the German and French sector of Manchester. Father Sylvester Yoerg, O.S.B., organized St. Raphael’s Parish and planned for a school to occupy the second and third floors over the new church.

Our Campus

The campus of Saint Benedict Academy is located next to Saint Raphael Church on the West side of Manchester. The facilities include classrooms, computer lab, gym, and library. Children play in the large church courtyard for recess as well as the field and basketball courts across the street.
