First Grade at Saint Benedict Academy strives to provide a structured routine schedule,  clearly stated expectations as well as following multi-step directions.  We create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. The goals are to increase the child’s ability to become involved in and make sense of their surroundings, take responsibility, and interact with their peers. Other goals are to help facilitate the development of coping skills, to become problem solvers and self-confident independent children.
