With these words of Isaiah quoted by Saint Paul, I warmly greet each of you - bearers of wisdom - and through you the staff, students and families of the many and varied institutions of learning that you represent. It is my great pleasure to meet you and to share with you some thoughts regarding the nature and identity of Catholic education today.

Saint Benedict
Prayer for Guidance

O gracious and holy Father,
Give us wisdom to perceive you,
intelligence to understand you,
diligence to seek you,
patience to wait for you,
eyes to see you,
a heart to meditate on you,
and a life to proclaim you,
through the power of the spirit of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Matching Gifts
Many businesses offer matching gift funds, which can double or triple a donor's gift. Check with your employer.

Designated gifts to a particular program are always welcome. Many people may wish to make a gift directly to the library, or to the music and arts programs, or many other areas.

Memorial and honorary gifts are a thoughtful way to remember someone special while helping St. Benedict Academy.

Most gifts are by cash (check), but gifts of stocks and securities may also be accepted by the school and may also be matched by some employers.

Planned giving offers many ways to remember Saint Benedict Academy through bequests and wills, life insurance, annuities, charitable remainder trusts and other areas. Contact the school's development office, which can help coordinate your wishes.
